Explore business care

A better everyday care option

When care is easier to reach, small problems are easier to address.

For a small business, employee healthcare can feel complicated long before anyone needs a specialist or emergency room. A lingering cough, a medication question, a minor injury, or a chronic condition that needs steady attention can quickly become missed work, uncertainty, and one more burden on a busy team.

Direct Primary Care gives employees a local place to start. Instead of asking them to sort through urgent care options or put off a concern, Coastline offers a familiar care team that can listen, evaluate, treat appropriate primary care needs, and help patients understand the next step when outside care is needed.

That local relationship matters. It creates a clearer path for everyday health needs that affect how people feel, work, and care for their families. For employers, it is a practical benefit that feels personal rather than one more impersonal program.

Direct care, built for real workdays

What your employees can count on.

Care is centered on the needs that come up most often, with a provider who gets to know the patient behind the appointment.

01

A local primary care home

Employees have a consistent place to bring annual wellness needs, stable chronic conditions, medication questions, and concerns that deserve more than a rushed visit.

02

Care for sick days and minor injuries

Up to four sick or minor injury visits per membership year help employees get timely guidance for common concerns without guessing where to go.

03

Follow-up that feels connected

When a patient needs lab review, a refill when medically appropriate, or a check-in about an ongoing concern, Coastline keeps the conversation moving.

04

A benefit families can use

Additional family members can join the membership, extending the value of a local care relationship beyond the workday.

More than a quick visit

Personal care that respects the whole picture.

Coastline is a functional medicine practice, so care starts with the patient’s health history, current concerns, daily life, and goals. That does not mean every visit needs to become complicated. It means employees can have a thoughtful conversation when something is affecting their energy, sleep, medications, recovery, or ability to feel like themselves.

For employers, the value is simple: a care option that makes it easier for employees to get attention before a manageable issue becomes a bigger interruption. Coastline can provide appropriate primary care support, help coordinate referrals when a higher level of care is needed, and offer clear communication about what the patient should do next.

That approach is especially useful for local oil, gas, construction, industrial, and small-business teams. These workplaces need healthcare that is practical, local, and respectful of the fact that employees are balancing real work, family responsibilities, and changing health needs.

A practical employee benefit

Clear access without asking employees to navigate alone.

For your business

Coastline can become a dependable local medical resource for everyday employee health questions, return-to-work needs, and care coordination. The goal is not to replace every part of the healthcare system. It is to make the first step clearer and more useful.

For your employees

Patients receive a more personal healthcare experience, with room to ask questions and a provider who can help them understand which next step is appropriate for their needs.

For your leadership team

Coastline’s Small Business Health Partnership also includes leadership wellness and medical advisory support, creating a broader local care relationship when that fits your business.

Is this the right fit?

Built for employers who want local care to feel easier.

Direct Primary Care may be a strong fit if you want to offer employees a practical healthcare benefit, reduce the friction around everyday care, or give your team access to a local provider they can return to over time. It can be especially valuable when your business wants more personal support than a generic benefits portal can provide.

Coastline’s employee membership is available through the Small Business Health Partnership for businesses with 50 employees or fewer. The employee membership is $75 per employee per month, with an option for additional family members at $50 per month. Laboratory testing and medications are billed separately at standard direct-patient pricing when needed.

Because the membership is not insurance, it works best as a direct care benefit alongside the coverage and resources your employees may already have. Coastline manages appropriate primary care concerns and helps patients coordinate the right next step when specialized, hospital, emergency, advanced imaging, or outside laboratory care is needed.

Frequently asked questions

Answers for business owners and team leaders.

What is Direct Primary Care for employees?

Direct Primary Care gives employees a local relationship with a provider through a straightforward membership. At Coastline, employee members can access an annual primary care or wellness visit, sick and minor injury visits, management of stable chronic conditions, routine refills when medically appropriate, and follow-up support.

Is this health insurance?

No. Coastline’s employee membership is not health insurance. It is a direct relationship with a local care team. Employees can still use insurance for care outside Coastline, such as specialist services, hospital care, advanced imaging, or outside laboratory costs.

Can small businesses offer this to families?

Yes. The Coastline Employee Primary Care Membership includes an option for additional family members, extending access to local, familiar care to the people employees care for at home.

What kinds of businesses can work with Coastline?
